Portola Valley Residence

The hilltop site’s magnificent views of Portola Valley and the Coast Range are what the owners fell in love with, but the 1962 run of the mill ranch house came with it. We wanted to create a sense of place on top of the hill and focus on creating clear spaces inside and simple forms outside.
